Transformative, Strategic, Collaborative.
I believe that a holistic and a comprehensive way forward must be sought for and by Dalit women, towards a world that is safe, equitable, and sustainable. Dalit women, their families, and their communities deserve to lead enriching, fulfilling lives, free from violence, exploitation, oppression, and discrimination. Towards that, we must envision politics that is transformative, strategic, and collaborative. We need to;
- Invest in collective efforts that result in real-world impact and measurable changes for Dalit women
- Keep Dalit women at the centre of feminist and social impact movements
- Seek empowerment that is focused on thriving as much as it is on surviving
